What a sight to see ,these wild horses running free, completely natural & part of nature, how its meant to be. Back in the 1800s there were no fences , there were no (horse breeders) as such , if the early settlers wanted horses ,for farm work, mustering, pulling carriages, anything at all, they went out & mustered them. Some of their own horses would have run with them anyway, and so it became pretty difficult to separate the two! I imagine as one stallion would have had a big influence on one particular mob! Over the years it is easy to understand why there is so much Quality there today. The bloodlines were the best of the best, some Thoroughbreds, some from UK carriage horses, some of which no longer exist today in Britain! So we can actually boast a unique bloodline in some of these horses!
